The Forgetful Groom
Posted on 23 September 2010
The wedding season has started. The weather is warming up and the flowers are starting to bloom. Love is in the air. That means that it’s the season for wedding parties to be buying gifts, too.
It seems to be more difficult when it comes to buying gifts for the groom and groomsmen. Men struggle with this as much as women do.
One of the interesting stats that I see with purchases is that if the bride orders, then the groom gets included, however when grooms order, they often forget themselves and end up having to place another order so the wedding gifts are complete.
Our range of socks and trunks is a very popular bridal party gift as is most of the drinkware. There is something funny about being so clearly labelled even if the label isn’t seen!
The stainless steel pilsners and the new slim stubby coolers have caught the eye of even the most forgetful groom. The lovely thing about these gifts is that you can use them on the wedding day as well as in the future. Each one is labelled with the role your bloke plays on the day – groom, best man and groomsman.
If your groom is a little forgetful why not make him a checklist so that he can tick everyone off as he buys their gifts? Make sure that his own name is on it and he can place his order all at once. That will make him very happy.
